Tanya Cunningham Music

Tanya Cunningham was born on October 6, 1972, in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Oak Cliff. She began singing for her family and friends and was performing publicly by the age of seven. Tanya was actively involved in school plays and would often be the lead in some major shows.

Tanya spent much of her childhood singing whenever the opportunity arose, influenced by the famous Patsy Cline, at age 18 she began to compete in local talent shows in and around the Dallas area.

Tanya found clerical work for different companies and married and had her first child by the age of 18.

As a testiment of a true overcomer, Tanya has been able to continue pursuing her singing career all the while facing two major open heart surgeries, two divorces, a daughter passing away from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).

"I believe God has a purpose for all of us, and I am just beginning to fulfill my purpose". Tanya stated.

Tanya's first song "Loving Memory" was written by her sister Tina
