Anthony Fountain BMus (HONS) MMus
I am a PhD music student at the University of Hull, having previously gained a first class degree and a Masters degree specialising in solo piano performance, accompaniment and performance analysis. I studied the piano with Irena Glushenkova, a former tutor at the Moscow Conservatoire. I am a regular accompanist for vocalists, choirs, examinations, recitals, concerts and festivals in the Yorkshire region. I can perform in a wide range of genres from popular through to classical and Jazz. I have over 10 years of professional accompaniment experience both in bands and for soloists. This has included accompanying on the piano for the Northern Theatre company, the Hessle Amateur Dramatic Society, various male and femal voice choirs, college and university concerts and events, business functions, weddings, instrumental and vocal exams and festivals. I also teach the piano privately and my fees for teaching, rehearsals, exams and recording sessions is 22.00 GBP per hour.
