 American Protege The American Protege International Music Talent Competition 2011 is open to instrumentalists, vocalists and traditional folk and jazz groups of all nationalities and countries. We invite talented performers of any age and genre to participate in the Competition. First Place Winners will perform on Saturday March 12, 2011 at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City Participant may choose one or several pieces from the extended repertoire: • Classical repertoire (Baroque, Classical, Romantic or Contemporary periods). • Folk/Traditional • Broadway/Musical Theatre • Jazz (no drums) Multiple winners will be chosen in each repertoire category. For the audition applicants must submit: 1. DVD recording of their performance 2. Completed application 3.
